Directions

 from South, GPS Serrig, Domänenstraße

  1. coming via „Saarbrücken“: take Autobahn Luxembourg via Saarlouis and exit Merzig „Besseringen“, drive to Mettlach and stay at the street parallel to the Saar (B 51 Trier) until you reach Serrig. You take the second exit to Serrig. ((Attention, if you come by bus, please drive to Saarburg, make a right to get to the train station, cross the railway and follow directions # 4! Serrig is blocked by road construction and a high bus can´t pass the tunnel.)) You will already see our winary on top of the hill (a long white building on top of the vineyard). Forget about any signs that try to stop you from using any road or entering the forest!!! You pass a tunnel under the railway and drive straight ahead uphill (don´t take the Saarsteinstraße, because it will lead you at the bottom of our vineyard and ends there…) take the “Domänenstraße” uphill, you will pass an old-fashioned castle and will get to the “Hofgut Serrig”. The hill “left” of the Hofgut is the saarstein. You have to get there from behind, which means that you have to drive into the forest and after 100 m you will have a sign SAARSTEIN…

from North GPS Saarburg / Thrasoltstraße

  1. coming from Frankfurt (Autobahn to Koblenz, exit “Rheinböllen”) via “Hunsrückhöhenstraße” (B407) you drive to Saarburg (via Zerf, Irsch). At Saarburg you stay on the street, don´t drive downhill to the town! At “Vergölst” (trailers and wheels, yellow sign) you make a left. Next crossing you take the second street from the left (there  is a  sign SAARSTEIN). GPS: Saarburg / Thrasoltstraße. This road goes uphill through the forest. At the peak of the hill, there is the big white sign SAARSTEIN…

  1. coming via Kaiserslautern, exit Reinsfeld and follow directions from North
